As the air cools and the leaves begin to change, U.L. Coleman Properties are finding creative ways to bring residents together this October. Across every community, associates are embracing the season with events that celebrate connection, creativity, and the comfort of home. From festive decorations to thoughtful activities, each property is adding its own special touch to make the month memorable.
At Le Rivage, residents enjoyed a spirited Trunk or Treat event and a Resident Halloween Party, complete with candy giveaways and even a “Pet of the Month” feature that celebrates furry friends. Southwood Village is spreading seasonal cheer through Cookie Day and Trick or Treat bags delivered right to residents’ doors. Over at Oak Hollow, the team participated in the City of Longview’s National Night Out, a nationwide initiative that strengthens neighborhood safety and community partnerships, while also supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Day with pink treats in the lobby. Tallow Wood and Greenacres Village are joining the fun by delivering Halloween bags to residents’ doors, and Highcrest is adding a playful twist with a “Guess the Candy Corn” challenge that’s sure to spark friendly competition.
Creative expression is taking center stage at Fern Crossing, where residents can participate in a Mat-tastic Paint Party to design and decorate their own door mats. Millicent Crossing is offering a sweet surprise with Candy at the Door and hosting a cheerful Breakfast with Xfinity. At Colonial Plaza, residents are invited to join a Pumpkins & Paint event that combines art and autumn flair. Millbrook is hosting a Halloween party complete with a pumpkin painting contest, boo bags, and more. Meanwhile, Coates Bluff and The Willows began the month on a warm note with a Resident Breakfast on October 4 and will wrap up with their annual Resident Halloween Party. Raintree joined in the celebrations as well, hosting a cozy Fall Brunch at their clubhouse, where residents gathered over coffee, conversation, and seasonal treats.
These seasonal gatherings are more than just fun events — they’re a reflection of U.L. Coleman Companies’ ongoing commitment to fostering community. Through shared experiences, laughter, and creativity, our properties continue to provide spaces where neighbors connect and memories are made. Community events like these help strengthen the bonds that make each neighborhood thrive — a sentiment echoed by the Community Associations Institute, which highlights how well-planned resident events nurture community spirit and well-being. This October, the spirit of togetherness is alive and well across every U.L. Coleman community.
