She provides administrative and marketing support to the construction department. Her duties include drafting contracts and change orders, coding and processing invoices, and handling permit documents for the building and zoning process. Wendy also drafts Requests for Proposal and solicits bids, prepares purchase orders for labor and material and researches sources, and obtains quotes for materials.
She has six years’ work experience in a construction environment. Wendy assisted in managing approximately 20 consultant contracts totaling up to $4 Million at any given time. She was responsible for tracking contract status from issuing through closing the contract and creating and monitoring work task orders under active agreements. She has worked with both private companies and local, state, and federal municipalities. Additionally, Wendy was a Human Resources Specialist for over six years and an Executive Assistant for over 15 years.
