Shreveport, Louisiana – U. L. Coleman Companies congratulated Princes Jones, the newest Centenary College Coleman scholarship recipient. Princes was honored on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at U.L. Coleman Companies’ central office where her parents, employees, and mentors of Princes spoke of her accomplishments and celebrated her successful business education, including a very active schedule of volunteer work.
Princes is pursuing a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Adminstration and plans to graduate in May of 2016. In addition to her studies, Princes has worked as an intern at the Foodbank of Northwest Louisiana, volunteered with Literacy Volunteers, Common Ground Community and Broadmoor United Methodist Church. Princes also serves as the assistant manager of the Centenary Student Union.
Dr. Harold Christensen, Interim Chair – Frost School of Business and Professor of Economics and U.L. Coleman Companies President, Linc Coleman, highlighted Princes’ achievements and shared words of encouragement as she enters into her Junior year at Centenary. U.L. Coleman Companies has been providing fall and spring scholarships to deserving Centenary students for over 15 years.
