Millicent Crossing :: Model Unit Updates

Nov 10, 2015

Millicent Crossing’s model has been updated and it’s more than a fresh coat of paint. The model has an instant warmth to it as soon as you open the door! Our goal is to make the apartment attractive to as many viewers as possible. We have staged the model unit with neutral-style furniture, such as beds, sofas and artwork, so prospective residents can imagine their own belongings in place.

The furniture has been arranged so that the apartment has a nice flow from room to room. We want our prospective resident to see our apartments as an escape or retreat away from a hectic day of working and taking care of kids and other everyday tasks. Using furniture is essential when staging an otherwise empty apartment. Not only does an empty apartment look naked and smaller than a furnished or dressed-up one, but some buyers are baffled by an empty apartment, wondering if the space will fit their needs. Staging an occupied apartment requires more flexibility and creativity.

We understand a successfully staged apartment lets viewers remember the property, not the belongings inside. So, the next time you are in the area, stop by and one of our friendly on-site managers will be happy to give you a tour.
