Jill Marlow • General Manager

Jill Marlow joined U. L. Coleman Companies in July of 2006, as Office Manager. As a vital member of the management team, she is primarily responsible for  administering the affairs of the company in accordance with organizational policies, staffing, and leading associates in functioning as a team.  She provides a productive, cost-effective workplace where all teams function efficiently; and where company goals are reached. 

Jill has over twenty years of sales, staffing, and hotel management experience, and combined management expertise in strategic planning, communication, marketing, and customer service.  Prior to her employment with U. L. Coleman Companies, she was District Manager at Kelly Employment Services where she consistently exceeded targeted sales goals and managed the placement of over 500 employment positions in NW Louisiana. 

A native of New Orleans, Jill relocated to Shreveport in 1997 and has been active in the community.  She holds professional memberships in Rotary International, Women’s Business Council, Society of Human Resources Management, and Progressive Executives.  She supports Shreveport-Bossier Community Renewal and the Shreveport Symphony and Opera. 

Jill earned a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana, majoring in Political Science, and is currently pursuing her REALTOR’s® license.

 


Edward Prokopf • Marketing Manager

Edward “Ed” Prokopf joined The U. L. Coleman Companies in May of 2007 as Executive Project Specialist.  He has over 10 years of experience in corporate identity development and information design for print and electronic media, specializing in creative direction for print and brand development.  In this position, Ed supports all departments. 

Prior to joining The U.L. Coleman Companies, Ed was the Art Director for RPJ Marketing Communications, Inc. and the Marketing Coordinator for Harrah’s Casino Shreveport.  

Ed graduated from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana, with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Graphic Design.  He was also the recipient of several design awards such as the Addy Awards Silver and Merit at District, Harley Davidson Badge Design, First Place in Monroe Louisiana Restaurant Design Contest, and First Place in the ASTD Logo Contest.

 


Jan Glass • Director of Human Resources

Jan Glass, Certified Public Accountant, (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, AICPA) joined the staff of the U. L. Coleman Companies in 1990. With over 20 years experience in accounting services, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company and as a member of the management team. 

Jan earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University at Shreveport. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of both the National and the Northwest Louisiana Chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management. 

Before joining the company, Jan worked for twelve years as office manager and bookkeeper for a private interior design firm. In addition, she provided contact accounting services to local companies.


Amy Bullock • Assistant Manager of Human Resources

Amy joined U. L. Coleman Companies in October 2008 as the Assistant Manager of Human Resources.  She previously served as the Director of Human Resources for a national company based in Shreveport, LA.  Amy holds two degrees from Louisiana Tech University, a Bachelor's of Science in Business and a Master's of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.  Locally, she is active in Women's Business Council of the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce, Society of Human Resource Management, and Northwest Louisiana Tech Advancement Group.

Regina Brocato • Executive Administrative Assistant

Regina Brocato graduated from Northwestern State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management and Tourism, and a minor in Business Administration.

Prior to joining the U. L. Coleman Companies as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the company president, Regina worked as a Human Resource Administrator for a company in Dallas, Texas, and as a National Recruiting/Training Manager. She also brings with her experience in sales, management, and customer service.

Her current job responsibilities include assisting with community projects and civic activities, as well as providing administrative support to the President, Mr. Coleman.


Cindy Howell • Administrative Coordinator

Cindy Howell has been the Administrative Coordinator for The U. L.Coleman Companies since June of 2007.  She assists in the daily operations of work flow throughout the companies and is involved in developing new procedures as necessary to maintain order and to prepare for strategic growth in all areas of the company.

Cindy, a Certified Fraud Examiner and former Senior Project Manager, has over 18 years of diversified experience in the banking industry, particularly in the areas of commercial and construction lending, bank and credit card fraud, research and analysis, litigation support, and risk management.  She is also an experienced professional development trainer.  Before returning to Shreveport, she was employed as Business Intake Coordinator by an international law firm in Richmond, Virginia.  

Her community involvement has included Chairman and Co-Chairman roles with the Susan G. Koeman Race For the Cure in Richmond, Virginia; Computer Trainer for the Read Center in Richmond, Virginia; and Elementary School Grade Captain and Tutor within the Discovery program of the Hands On Atlanta organization in Atlanta, Georgia.  

Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences from the University of Houston, in Houston, Texas.
