Linc Coleman, President of the U. L. Coleman Companies, has thirty five years experience in commercial and investment real estate services, including commercial brokerage and leasing, asset and property management, and construction and development. His Bachelor's degree is from Centenary College in Mathematics, Economics, and Business; and his Masters degree in Business Administration is also from Centenary.

Linc also graduated from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Office of Executive Education's Advanced Management Development Program in Real Estate in the summer of 2004. Linc Coleman has achieved the CCIM® (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation by RNMI® (REALTORS® National Marketing Institute), and the CPM® (Certified Property Manager) designation by IREM® (Institute of Real Estate Management).

Under his direction, the U. L. Coleman Companies have successfully competed to develop and manage facilities for, among others, IBM and Federal Express Corporations. Linc's management expertise is exemplified by the fact that U. L. Coleman Properties, Ltd. was the first property management company in North Louisiana to be certified by the Institute of Real Estate Management as an Accredited Management Organization (AMO®).

Linc Coleman has served on numerous boards and committees for various civic and community service organizations, as well as those in the real estate profession. His professional affiliations and designations include:

Scotty Jones • Executive Vice President

Scotty Jones joined U. L. Coleman Properties in 1981 as Property Manager, was named Vice President of U. L. Coleman Properties, Ltd. in 1982, and Executive Vice President in 1990. He was named Vice President of the U. L. Coleman Company, Ltd. and Sequoia Construction, Ltd. in 1990. Under his expert management, the company’s portfolio includes approximately 3,000 multi-family units. Including the commercial portfolio of office, warehouse, and retail space, Scotty oversees a portfolio of close to three million square feet. He also has a very successful brokerage record with multi-family developments.

Scotty is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management(IREM®), the International Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA®), and a member of the Louisiana REALTORS® Association. He is also a member of the Commercial Investment Division of the Northwest Louisiana Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®.

He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a degree in Finance; and his previous experience includes ownership in a timber company, as well as banking experience.

David Lester • CPA, Controller

David Lester, a Certified Public Accountant, heads the Accounting Department for the U. L. Coleman Companies. David was appointed Controller in 1994, and serves as a corporate officer in this capacity for U. L. Coleman Company, Ltd. and U. L. Coleman Properties, Ltd. Responsibilities include financial reporting, payroll, and data processing management. He has played an integral part in the tremendous growth of the company portfolio, and his leadership of the entire Accounting Department has been a key role in this accomplishment.

David is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelors degree in Accounting. Professional affiliations include membership in two honorary business fraternities and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. David was selected by the U. L. Coleman Companies to receive the Distinguished Sales and Marketing Executives Award in 2000.

His experience prior to joining the company in 1988 was as a senior accountant with a Certified Public Accountants firm.

Jill Marlow • General Manager

Jill Marlow joined U. L. Coleman Companies in July of 2006, as General Manager. As a vital member of the management team, she is primarily responsible for administering the affairs of the company in accordance with organizational policies, staffing, and leading associates in functioning as a team. She provides a productive, cost-effective workplace where all teams function efficiently; and where company goals are reached.

Jill has over twenty years of sales, staffing, and hotel management experience, and combined management expertise in strategic planning, communication, marketing, and customer service. Prior to her employment with U. L. Coleman Companies, she was District Manager at Kelly Employment Services where she consistently exceeded targeted sales goals and managed the placement of over 500 employment positions in NW Louisiana.

A native of New Orleans, Jill relocated to Shreveport in 1997 and has been active in the community. She holds professional memberships in Rotary International, Women’s Business Council, Society of Human Resources Management, and Progressive Executives. She supports Shreveport-Bossier Community Renewal and the Shreveport Symphony and Opera.

Jill earned a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana, majoring in Political Science, and is currently pursuing her REALTOR’s® license.
